Introduction
Mental health is a difficult topic – especially in construction. But silence is no longer an option. The statistics are clear: our industry is facing a mental health crisis that demands attention, compassion, and action.
The construction industry is physically demanding, and the mental strain is just as serious. Workers face chronic pain, extreme weather, irregular hours, and a transient workforce – all of which heighten the risk of mental health issues. It's time to confront these challenges directly. By fostering a supportive environment, we can help workers feel safe and valued. Mental health is as vital as physical health, and addressing it leads to a stronger, more productive workforce.
Facts and Stats
We have the power to make a difference. Every number tells a story. These facts show why prioritizing mental health in the construction industry can lead to stronger teams, safer sites, and brighter futures.
